Fardh dates, also called Fard Dates, are mostly farmed in Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Appearance & Flavor
Fardh dates are elongated and medium to large in size. They skin, which varies in hue from amber to dark brown, is smooth and shiny. The meat is juicy and tender. These dates are rich and sweet, with hints of caramel. They are renowned for have a little molasses flavor and inherent sweetness.
Uses
Fardh dates can be utilized in a variety of culinary applications, but they are also eaten locally as a snack on their own. They are frequently added to cakes and other pastries.
